A recent event at Michigan State University brought lawmakers, educators and automotive industry leaders together to discuss the future of electric vehicles in Michigan. While there, Lt. Governor Gilchrist stated, “We’re on the cusp of another revolution. We’re on the cusp of this electrified and autonomous future, for mobility and the stat of Michigan.”
Michigan is planning to bring 21,000 jobs to the automotive industry, much in the electric vehicle sector. Additionally, the infrastructure law passed by President Biden includes $110 million dollars for investing in expanding Michigan’s electric vehicle charging network. All around great news for Michiganders!
