Commercial Service Agreement
OBLIGATION TO PAY: Contractor requires payment from the person/entity who has called to request the work to be done, as signatory below, and not forwarded to a landlord or any other entity unless those arrangements have been made at the time-of-service request.
PERMITS: Contractor shall apply for and obtain any permits as may be required by the local municipality for the homeowner/customer, the cost of which shall be paid by the homeowner/customer at the time of final payment.
MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT: Contractor will charge going retail rates for any materials and/or special equipment needed to complete the project and homeowner/customer agrees to pay the same.
ACCESS: The homeowner/customer will allow and provide free and clear access to work areas, free from debris.
UNAVOIDABLE DAMAGE: Contractor will make every effort to avoid damage while performing work. However, there may be times where it may be necessary or unavoidable to cut/remove drywall, ceiling tiles, trim or other such existing features of the structure to accomplish the work. In these cases, the electrician will discuss this with the homeowner/customer and get permission to proceed. Any repairs/replacement in such cases shall be the responsibility of the homeowner/customer.
WARRANTY: Contractor shall provide services and meet its obligations under this agreement in a timely and workmanlike manner. Any material that is found to be defective or work that is not performed in a workmanlike manner shall be warranted for period of 1 year from the date of service.
SERVICE HOURS: Normal working hours are Monday – Friday from 7:00AM – 3:30PM. Overtime hours are Monday – Friday from 3:30PM – 9:00PM and Saturday from 7:00AM – 3:30PM. Double-Time is any hours worked outside those previously stated. See rates as listed below.
LABOR CHARGES: Contractor will charge the client an Initial Service Fee, which is due in advance and includes administrative cost, mobilization, fuel, environmental cleanup/disposal and the first 30 minutes of the visit. Each hour after the initial 30 minutes on site will be billable in 15-minute increments.
In the event of an Emergency/After Hours call, homeowner/customer agrees to a 2-hour minimum labor charge, port-to-port for the Electrician, at the applicable rate as indicated above, which is based on the day and time.
PAYMENT: Unless other arrangements have been made prior to, the Initial Service Fee is charged in advance of a technician mobilizing to the site. All additional labor and material charges are due upon completion of the work or immediately upon invoicing.
The Initial Service Fee shall be made via the “Make Payment” button below. Additional charges will be discussed with the customer in the field, even if a final price is not known, and customer grants permission to collect additional charges via the CC on file.
If prior arrangements have been made, the contractor will invoice after work has been completed, in which case, payment is due upon receipt. Payments not received within 30 days of the invoiced date will incur a 1.5% charge per month, equal to an 18% annual interest rate.
