I am the Shop Superintendent, which consists of several responsibilities. I take care of the manpower on our jobs, and also oversee the foreman on the job who in turn works with other superintendents. I help with the project itself, and assist the project manager. I spend about half my time in the office, and half in the field. My day consists of meetings, reviewing jobs, ensuring manpower and overseeing the scope of work. Basically, my day looks like the Three Stooges, and I’m Curly just spinning around!
